I'm offering you: Clarity, Courage and Community - one chapter at a time.
You love your family. You want to do meaningful work.
But no one told you how much it would cost to try to do both inside a system that was never built for you.
You work. You care. You carry it all.
You’ve built a life that looks good on paper—
or maybe just good enough to get by.
You’re stretched thin, burned out, or maybe just quietly asking:
“Is this really it?”
“I love my kids… but I miss myself.”
“Why does everything feel like too much and not enough at the same time?”
“This can’t be the only way to earn a living.”
This isn’t just about your job.
It’s about how hard it is to build a life as a woman,
especially one where you're trying to earn money
and raise kids
and still remember who you are in the process.
It’s a system designed by and for men—a system that rewards availability, applauds burnout, and calls it success.
Women fought for a seat at that table… but the table was never built for our wholeness.
I’m not here to promise you seven figures or a viral side‑hustle.
I’m here to show you how to own your time, create income safety, and live without trading your sanity—or your presence—for a paycheck.
If that sounds like the kind of wealth you’ve been craving, you can start reading the first two chapters for free to see if it aligns with the tension you've been feeling.
In 2002, I had the career, the six-figure salary, the canal house in Amsterdam—and a baby on the way.
My daughter Kayla! The office was cluttered, diapers stacked in the corner, and the to‑do list never ended. But the dream was alive.
What was confusing was that I had everything I thought I wanted—everything that was supposed to make me feel successful, secure, and dare I say happy. From the outside, my life might have looked curated, like something you'd screenshot for inspiration.
But inside, something wasn’t working.
I didn't have time. Or peace. Or a version of success that made sense for the life I wanted to live.
So I walked away.
I bought a boutique hotel, served breakfast instead of quarterly reports, and built a business around my life—not the other way around.
It wasn’t easy. I made mistakes. I found my way by feel, often in the dark.
But I did find a way.
This book is the guide I wish I had back then—for every woman who's asking,
“Can I really do this differently?”
You can. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
